Start with the sensor path

Make sure stored items, debris or other objects are not blocking the beam. Check whether both sensor units appear securely mounted.

When the door reverses

A door that begins closing and then reverses can have a sensor issue, but mechanical resistance and opener settings can create similar symptoms.

Do not permanently bypass safety sensors

Safety devices should remain functional. If basic cleaning and obstruction checks do not solve the problem, arrange service.
